What does this training involve?
This is a High Risk Worksafe licence which is mandatory to operate a non clewing mobile crane over three tones capacity.
Training includes the safe use and operation of a non slewing mobile crane with an MRC greater than 3 tonnes capacity.

Are there any pre requisites for this training?
Must be 18 years of age or older.
There is mandatory pre learning which must be completed prior to commencing the course.
Do I need a license to operate a telehandler in Victoria?
Three tonne or less lift capacity: No, you do not require a licence, however Worksafe Victoria (2017) states “Telehandler operators with a capacity of three tonne or less do not require a licence, but should be competent in their use and have training in relation to the machine and attachment being used.”

More than three tonne lift capacity: Yes. Worksafe Victoria (2017) states "A mobile crane licence (with the minimum being a non– slewing CN licence) is required if the telehandler has a capacity greater than three tonne and does not have a work platform fitted."
Current CN licence unit code TLILIC0018. Holding a Dogman license is no longer a pre requisite for completing this training.
